How does Facebook see your website?

That’s a good one! Did you ever ask yourself this question? Facebook uses OGP. Open Graph Protocol. Webmasters and Developers know the OGP of course. The OGP data is stored in the '<head>' section of your web pages. It has some additional information about your website that Facebook uses for example when you click a ‘like’ button.

When you like a website (or page) it is posted to your Facebook wall, but what is exactly posted to your wall? This all depends on how the OGP is configured on that website (page).
